The program · what it looks like, entirely

Scattered. Not alone.

One Bible study through 1 Peter, for the whole digital church, at your own pace. Peter wrote to exiles scattered across the world and never treated scattered as lesser. So does this. It is free, it runs Monday through Saturday, and it meets people where they already are: their inbox, their phone, their Discord server.

The study · 1 Peter

Nine sessions. One passage each. The whole letter.

The text is 1 Peter, start to finish, in the Berean Standard Bible. That choice matters: it is a public-domain translation, which is the only reason every one of the 105 verses can be printed in full beside the devotional instead of linked away. Each session takes one passage and talks it through, the way a group would around a table.

Session 1
1 Peter 1:1-12
A living hope
Session 2
1 Peter 1:13-25
Be holy, because the word endures
Session 3

Living stones
Session 4
1 Peter 2:11-25
Foreigners and exiles
Session 5
1 Peter 3:1-12
Won without a word
Session 6
1 Peter 3:13-22
Suffering for doing good
Session 7
1 Peter 4:1-11

A week of Scattered

One live conversation. Six devotionals. Every channel.

This is the week, in the order it happens. The live session is the only part that needs a person in the room. Everything after it is built from what was said there.

Live

A live session

One passage, talked through in the open, hosted by me and a co-host. It is a read-and-talk-through, not a sermon.

Replay

The replay

On YouTube the next Monday morning, with a condensed cut for people who will not watch the long version.

Mon–Fri

Five devotionals

About 300 words each, a few minutes to read, drawn from what was said in the room: the passage, one thing said, one application, one question.

Sat

One look-ahead

Saturday's piece turns toward next week's passage, so the study never ends on a gap.

Daily

On every channel

Email at each reader's local morning, a daily post in Discord and Slack, READ on WhatsApp any time, and a podcast feed that carries the daily readings.

Weekly

A leader's guide

A printable guide for anyone who wants to run the study with a group of their own.

One person's path

From a letter to a habit, in six steps.

Nobody has to figure out where to start. There is one sign-up page, one first morning, and then the rhythm carries them.

Step 1

They find it

A letter to the scattered church, the blog, social posts, Discord and WhatsApp. Every door leads to one sign-up page.

Step 2

They sign up once

A name and an email, and the choice of where to read: email, Discord, WhatsApp or the journal. One sign-up opens a journal too.

Step 3

The first morning

The first devotional, "Written to the people nobody wrote to," arrives at the start of their day, in the channel they chose.

Step 4

They respond

Reply to an email to save a thought in the journal, send NOTE and a few words in chat, or open the journal and answer four prompts.

Step 5

They read on the go

Message Cairn the word READ on WhatsApp or Discord any day and the day's devotional comes back, no account needed.

Step 6

They bring a friend

The journal shows a picture of the whole letter, a square a week, brighter the more days you read, and lets you invite someone.

Who does what

A person leads. A machine drafts. A person checks.

I host the live sessions with a co-host. After each one, an Ai drafts the six devotionals from the transcript and the Bible text. A person approves the week's devotionals before they go out. Ai-made video carries the platform's synthetic-content label.

The same machine, for you

A church's Sunday is a live session too.

Your pastor already gives a live message every week. Scattered shows what happens when that one conversation is treated as the source for a week of daily touchpoints on every channel. That is the Monday-through-Saturday life this is all about. The Bible study is the lab version. Your church's version starts from your sermon.
